Reminds me of all the robots me and Dave drew all those years ago. We plastered them all over the walls of our house in Winchmore Hill and had to explain them over and over again to each new visitor to the house. We did have a guest wall for robots designed by visitors.
I remember showing people round the house when we needed new housemates; “this is the kitchen, all mod cons, even a dishwasher. This is the bedroom, good size isn’t it? This is the front room, here is a wall of robots that me and Dave design. Would you like to design one? If you do it will go on the opposite wall until you have moved in properly. You are going to move in aren’t you? Where are you going? Come back! Stop running! Is that a yes?”
Although the two/three girls who did move in liked the robots! Good work Ali/Lou/Charlotte.
It was an excellent acid test of whether we would get on.
We removed them the next year when looking for more house mates and we didn’t get such good friends move in. So there you go.
Maybe I’ll look at putting the robots on my blog…
